Acquisition is a funny thing.
It pays to be stuck in traffic.
Begs to be liked.
Expects everyone to take the bait...
And when they don't, it blames it on the product!
Conversion is borderline perversion:
Knows right from wrong but thinks that's not for them.
Goes above and beyond and gets called a liar.
Truly believes "no" means "almost".
And thinks marketing sends them bad leads on purpose!
How it Works
NEXT, YOU'LL CREATE AN EXPERIENCE CENTRIC VIEW OF YOUR BUSINESS
Ideas and the products that you produce from them are great, but the real opportunity is in creating your business centered on the customer facing and revenue generating part of the business. The outcome? An amazing BRAND!
ONCE THAT'S DONE, WE'LL MODEL YOUR BUSINESS ENGINE WITH COLORED BOXES
At the macro level, what are the mechanics of your business engine and underlying infrastructure? How do they work as one? If seeing is believing, then at this stage you have a picture of your business engine and can see how it will attract customers and generate value consistently. This is the very definition of a business!
AFTER THAT, YOU GET TO BUILD MAGIC INTO EACH OF YOUR COLORED BOXES
This is where you surprise yourself by creating what feels like magic out of thin air. You will follow the dots below in numerical order to create each of the boxes pictured above. As you do that, big solutions to your hardest problems will just show up out of nowhere.
WOW, TIME FLIES, IT'S TIME FOR YOUR COLORED BOXES TO GO-TO-MARKET!
With your colored boxes defined, you are off to the races. How will the market respond to the magic you have generated. And how different will life be when your business knocks it our of the park! Congratulations!
Fulfillment is obsessed with orders:
Tells everyone what it can't do.
Thinks utilization is the holy grail.
Blames sales and marketing for unrealistic expectations.
And believes the rest of the company works for them!
Why I do it
Here's the thing... after 17 years as an innovator in corporate America I had enough.
I sat by idly at Microsoft while the startup world exploded in the dotcom era.
One day I was so beaten down by a culture that valued blind execution over thoughtful innovation, I made the big move to the startup world and never looked back.
Since then I have deconstructed and re-constructed business concepts over and over again.
I have invented fabulous models for how to do things orders of magnitudes better than the old way.
And I have collaborated with hundreds of CEOs just like you who were also bursting at the seams to bring something meaningful to market.
That gives you an idea of who I am and who I love working with. But here are a few things about my work...
I cannot help you get better at the corporate rat race. I help you leave it in the rear view mirror.
If you don’t want to make things that matter, you’re not going to identify with my stuff.
If you’re just looking to “Check Box” things off your to do list, I don’t want to help you.
